An Introduction to The Hugg Co - The New CBD Health & Wellness Brand

The Hugg Co is a new Luxe UK-based female lead Health & Wellness Lifestyle brand that focuses on the benefits of CBD oil. Designed for the women who need to take a step back and look after their optimal well-being throughout day to day life. A brand for the Girl Bosses out there. The brand comprises of daily self-care products, infused with a nice range of natural extracts and Lifestyle branding products, made to make life a little easier. The Hugg Co officially launched here in the UK at the beginning of the month.
I was very kindly sent 3 items from the brand to try (The Hugg CBD Infused Coffee, and a little gift set which included a small bottle of CBD oil and CBD infused bath salts); As someone who is clinically diagnosed with a mental illness and suffers from extreme anxiety, I was very excited to try everything out. Upon first glance i have noticed The Hugg currently have just the CBD oil available for purchase. I will of course update when the other items release. I will also mention that I think the brand will be bringing out some skincare items sometime in the near future, if this Instagram post is anything to go by. I must admit the skincare addict in me is secretly squealing with excitement (I'm hoping for a cleanser and face oil).

The Hugg Co CBD Oil 350mg - 10ml | £24.99
The Hugg Co CBD oil is an oil to be taken orally. Simply apply 2-4 drops under the tongue to achieve maximum absorption into the bloodstream. The Hugg Co claims that this oil is particularly ideal for CBD newbies which I am, and they do have a high-strength 1400mg oil for CBD OG's. When starting CBD oil, it's best to start on a low dose and work your way up to find the perfect balance for your lifestyle. I originally started off with 2 drops under the tongue in the morning, and have now moved up to 3-4. As someone intrigued by CBD, but was too anxious to try it, its been a fun experience. If you have never taken a liquid form supplement, you will notice the taste is not that great (its the same with my Floradix). I personally take mine just before a mouthful of my breakfast smoothie or orange juice, so it helps to mask the bitter herbal taste. My friends and sister all confirmed that it doesn't taste great but that the results are totally worth it. I don't take everyday but do on the mornings I wake up incredibly anxious, or in the evening when i cant have a cup of The Hugg coffee. Not only does it help calm my nerves, but it seems to have helped with the headaches I get from having blocked sinuses. I'm not sure if its meant to help with pain, but it really does help resulting in me taking less pain relief. Despite the small bottle size, a little goes a very long way.
The Hugg Co CBD infused Coffee 490MG - 100g
First of all, I will say as an avid coffee lover that the quality of these cocoa beans is first-rate. The taste is rich and crisp yet super smooth. The Hugg Co uses premium Italian roast coffee beans, coarse ground that are infused with 490mg of CBD oil (Felina 32 Hemp). You can actually see little particles of hemp in the coffee mixture. The aroma is utterly heavenly, I love it so much I leave my french press out all day to let the rich coffee scent waft throughout the downstairs of my house. As a diabetic who also suffers with extreme anxiety, most non-decaf coffees spike my sugar levels (resulting is hypo's, shakiness and dizziness) and it also triggers my anxiety resulting in ghastly heart palpitations. The Hugg Coffee mixed with CBD is a dream come true for someone like me, as it truly helps me to relax. A cup first thing in the morning sets me off on the right foot for the day, and it has even helped me to become more motivated and energetic. You definitely will need a french press to use this coffee, I enthusiastically made my first cup treating it like instant coffee granules and it wasn't exactly edible lol. The Hugg Co actually have an innovative Portable French Press Mug; Something I've never seen before and they also have an adorable Silicone Coffee Cup, both are perfect for the modern day woman on the go. This is by far my favourite product from the brand. The relaxed feeling is almost instant and it's changed my life for the better.
The Hugg Co CBD Bath Salts - 50g
Ingredients: Hemp Extract, Coconut Oil, Dead Sea Salts, Himilayan Salts, Dispersant Polysorbate Solubiser, Essential Oils Citrus Sinensis (sweet orange) & Zingiber officinale (ginger root).
Before starting on the CBD oil my anxiety completely ruled my life, so much so there were times I never left my house. Exercise was most definitely a thing of the past and slowly over the year I saw myself gain an unwanted 30lbs. Before i knew it was feeling more anxious an depressed than ever! Takine the CBD oil and CBD Coffee has helped motivate me to step out of my comfort zone a little and I started walking again. OK, it's on my treadmill but its better than nothing. I even started gardening, something that brings me so much anxiety as all my neighbours can see me. Obviously, because I have gone from being almost sedentary to active my muscles have been hurting. So, a nice hot bath with relaxing bath salts has been needed. The Hugg Co CBD bath salts help to soothe and relax my muscles while the uplifting scent of ginger root invigorates my mind. The salts are very finely-milled so there's no worry about if all the salts have melted or not. I would most definitely purchase this again as a treat.
